Lake Capote is managed by Craig Reinhart. Craig has been an employee of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe for over 25 years and 2017 will be his 6th season at Lake Capote. A “jack-of-all-trades” with an ever present smile Craig frequently works beyond what is expected of him to insure Lake Capote guests leave the facility with a smile on their faces.
Craig lives at Lake Capote year-round providing security and emergency response if needed.
Although Craig’s residence is next to the Bait Shop please respect his right to privacy and only approach his residence outside of operating hours (8 a.m. to 6 p.m) if it is an emergency.
Lake Capote is also staffed with two seasonal maintenance workers who help with keeping the grounds accessible, dispensing permits, maintaining surrounding facilities, assisting guests and operating the bait shop.
